Amaretto is a type of almond macaroon, made up of sugar, egg white and almond flour.
A few months ago, my boyfriend has been to Saronno, and brought me Amaretti…. Today I’ve decided to make them, and I’ve come up with this recipe.
Ingredients for about 35 Amaretti:
100 g of crushed hazelnuts or almonds cheap Ketorolac
300 g of sugar
3 ehh whites
a splash of lemon juice
Preparation Time: Xenical order 10 min.
Baking Time: 40 min.
Total Time: 50 min.
Whish the egg whites till stiff, then stir in sugar and lemon.
Now, slowly add crushed hazelnuts, taking care not to make it go runny.
Put some paper liners and fill them halfway with the mixture.
Bake at 120°C for 40 minutes or till they will be golden brown.
Take out of the oven, let cool down and serve.
Note: Amaretti di Saronno are not hard and crunchy, they rather have a slightly crunchy shell and a tender core.
One more thing: I used crushed hazelnuts, but you can also use almonds, instead.
