After yesterday light recipe, today’s Artichoke Meatloaf fits to a T 😛
Of course I had to make a different second course, as he can’t stand even the smell of artichokes, discarding them from the inside was out of the question! He doesn’t know what he missed, a a full marks meatloaf!
But let’s go on… preparations for Easter treats are over, I spent a really nice afternoon with my sister and mom, who helped me with ideas, suggestions and decorations… Now I just have to upload recipes and pictures of our creations and post them on the blog, so that you will have a few starting points if you want to make something fancy to serve or give as a gift for Easter.

Ingredients for 6 servings:
600 g of beef ground meat
2 eggs
2 slices of sandwich bread
50 g of grana
120 g of cooked ham
200 g of fior di latte
4 artichokes
1 clove of garlic
150 ml of stock
parsley
salt
black pepper
extra-virgin olive oil price of doxycycline buy Combivent online

1/2 lemon
1 egg or some milk to brush meatloaf

Preparation Time: 20 min.
Baking Time: 40 min.
Total Time: 1 hour

How to make Artichoke Meatloaf

Clean artichokes, by removing external tougher leaves, part of the stem and Cut off the tops of the leaves.

Slice artichokes, remove the hairy part inside, and put artichokes in a bouwl with water and juice of half a lemon for a few minutes.

Let brown garlic with oil in a pan, then add drained artichokes and cook on a high heat for a couple of minutes.

Lower heat, season with salt, ground pepper and chopped parsely, add a spoonful of hot stock, cover with a lid andcook for a dozen minutes.

Put in a bowl meat, eggs, bread (previously soaked in some water, and then squeezed), gran cheese, salt and pepper.

Kead by hand to combine.

Spread the meat on some baking paper, in one rectangular sheet.

Place ham, artichokes and fior di latte over the meat layer.

With the help of the baking paper, roll meat up.

Seal the edges.

Brush your meatloaf with beated egg, place a few knobs of butter over it, and bake at 180°C, in preheated oven, for about 40 minutes.

Take out of the oven, wait a few minutes, then slice and serve.
