Did you believe that, because of the book launch, I wouldn’t post any recipe today? Well, with the help of my sister, I’ve made a Book Cake, representing the full-scale cover of “I menu di Misya”. This is the way I’ve chosen to celebrate the event at home 😉
I took the recipe from Cookaround forum, they called it “biondina” (blondie) and the stuffing is a yummy nutella mousse.
For the occasion, I’ve also postes a video on my Youtube channel, to tell you about the book… and this time I’ve been so brave that I’ve even talked 😛 Sure, I still am clumsy and embarrassed, but I’m steel myself so to be qable to face videorecipes hahahaha 😛
Bye-bye and thank you for the affection you’re showing to me in these days… As I’ve written this morning on the Facebook group, being delighted by other people’s “success” can’t be taken for granted, but you are special, you’ve always thought at me as a friend of yours… and I’m so glad to know that you are proud of me… today I feel really happy, and if I’ve realized this dream is also thank to you :-*
Strattera online Ingredients for the nutella mousse
400 g of whipping cream
200 g of nutella
Preparation Time: 30 min
Baking Time: 30 min
Total Time: 1 hour
Whisk eggs and sugar till frothy.
Slowly add milk and oil.
Then sifted flour and baking powder. Whisk till getting a smooth mixture.
Pour it into a greased and floured cake pan, and bake at 170°C (in preheated oven) for 25-30 minutes.
Once ready, turn it upside down and let cool down.
Meanwhile, let’s make nutella mousse.
In a large bowl, whip cream, then add nutella with a spoon and amalgamate gently.
Layer the cake (I first divided it in 2 parts, in order to get the proper book dimensions) and stuff it with the mousse.
Close with the second layer and slightly press over it to evenly distribute the stuffing, then use the remaining mousse to frost the cake.
Cover the cake with sugar paste.
First place 3 white stripes on 3 sides, to represent the pages.
Then use a large purple rectangular sheet of sugar paste to make the cover.
Cut away the extra sugar paste and use some thin stripes to make the base.
Now stick the decorations, by brushing their bottom with some water.
And here you have my Menu di Misya cake 🙂
