If you have some sandwich bread at home and you’re searching for a fancy idea to use it, here you have my suggestion: Bread Roses, stuffed with cherry tomatoes and cheese slices 🙂
This is a super-easy recipe, with a eye-catching result, so this could be a nice idea for an appetizer for Mother’s Day, or even for a dinner with friends.
Today I’m in a rush, super-rush, I’d like to post another, different rose recipe, let’s see if I can, kisses :-*
Preparation Time: 10 min
Baking Time: 10 min
Total Time: 20 min
Wash tomatoes and cut them in pieces. Put them in a bowl, add some oil, salt and pepper, add cheese slices in pieces and stir.
With a rolling pin, roll out all the bread slices.
Make 4 cuts in the for angles, leaving entire the middle.
Put a teaspoon of stuffing in the middle.
Close the roses: cover the side of the filling with it with one of the sections, cover the other side with the opposite side’s section. Then repeat with the two last sections.
Place your Bread Roses inside greased muffin pans, spread a little oil and some parmesan over them, and bake at 200°C.
Bake for about 10 minutes, take out of the oven and serve hot.
