Finally! I found colorful silicon muffin liners and I could not resist: I bought them, immediately! And, of course, I had to try a new cupcake recipe… This time, I’ve chosen Chocolate Cupcakes, with a chocolate Philadelphia frosting 🙂 To begin the work week after Easter holidays, I leave you this delicious recipe. Of course, just like for vanilla cupcakes, you can choose any decoration you like… After all, this is exactly these treats’ strength 😉
Ingredients for the cheese frosting:
200 g of Philadelphia
100 g of dark chocolate
1 tbsp of icing sugar
Preparation Time: 25 min.
Baking Time: 15 min.
Total Time: 40 min.
Amalgamate butter and sugar till getting a cream. Add the egg and keep combining, then add in sifted flour and baking paper.
Stir till getting a smooth cream.
Meanwhile, melt chocolate in a heavy-based saucepan, in a bain-marie, then add in milk. Amalgamate, then combine the two mixtures.
Keep stirring till getting a smooth and creamy batter.
Pour the batter inside the liners (if they’re new, you need to grease them for the first use!), till reaching about 2/3 of the height.
Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for about 15 minutes, then take out and let cool down.
Meanwhile, let’s make the frosting…
Combine cream cheese, sugar and melted chocolate.
Put the frosting in a pastry bag and decorate your cupcakes.
