Bell Pepper are native to Central America and South America. It is much appreciated all over the world, and of course so it is in Italy as well. Here in Italy, actually, it has become one of the main ingredients, used for a great number of recipes, from frying to salads, from pasta to risotto.

Rinse and dry bell peppers.


With a knife, cut around the stalks.


Remove the stalks.


Cut the peppers in half.


Remove the pith and seeds inside.


Gently tap the peppers on a surface to remove any remaining seeds.
Go on and use bell peppers according to the recipe, for example by cutting them in stripes.
