Prawns and shrimps are very used in cooking. Their excellent flesh is quite mild and yet characteristic. It is enclosed in a hard shell.
You can buy them both whole or cleaned, and use them in a wide range of delicious recipes.
If you have bought whole prawns, you can clean them through the following, easy steps:

Rinse your prawns under fresh running water, then remove the heads (by simply twisting them).

Shell them, starting from the legs and the upper part of the shell, till getting to the tail.

Slightly incise the back of the prawn and draw the abdominal vein (that subtle black line) out.

Now you can use the prawns according to the recipe you’ve following.
