Fudge is a typical American confectionery, a sort of chocolates or truffles, made with chocolate, butter and milk (or, like in this case, condensed milk). It can be enriched with coffee, nuts, mint, etc. to get different flavors. It is usually served in squared pieces, at ambient temperature. It is a real delicacy!
Since you can make it in 10 minutes and there is no need for special pans, I think it’s perfect to make a last-minute St. Valentine’s pastry, don’t you think?

Total Time: 20 min + 2 hours in the fridge
Let melt chocolate and butter in a bain-marie.
Once melted, take away from heat and add condensed milk inside.
Quickly stir to amalgamate.
Move it into a 15cm x 15cm pan covered with plastic wrap.
Store in the fridge for at least 2 hours, or in the freezer for at least 20 minutes.
Then take it back, place it on a cutting board and cut into square slices.
