A while ago I tasted a pâté of green olives with almonds… and I decided I had to make it at home 😉 So, after finding the time to pit olives (as I don’t like packed pitted olives), I started to make it. It smells so good, it’s perfect to be served with bruschette or as a pasta dressing. Try the recipe and let me know!
Well, guys, my little star tomorrow is turning 4. I’ve finally decided the cake. yesterday night my sister and my brother-in-law made the main decoration, which will go on the top of the cake, and right now I have the base cakes in the oven. This is her first birthday where she is actually feeling the ferment and excitement , maybe because all of her class mates are going… and I’m so busy to plan everything! I made the party favors, marshmellow skewers and a marshmellow cake, I bought m&m’s with her face printed over, and I’m still searching for a white kitten to adopt… Well, I admit: maybe I’m even more excited then her 😛

Preparation Time: 20 min
Total Time: 20 min + 1 hour in the fridge
Pit olives and place them in a bowl.
Add desalted capers, garlic, almonds, basil and pepper.
Start to blend while slowly adding oil.
Blend till getting an even mixture.
Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
