Tramezzini Bread is a kind of bread you can find packaged in very large crust-less slices, quite different from sandwich bread. Because of its extremely soft consistency and its white color, here in Italy it is also known as milk bread. You need to store it in the fridge, strictly in a closed packet.
In cooking, you can make Tramezzini Bread at home quite easily. You just need these ingredients: salt, 250 ml of milk, 250 ml of water, 80 grams of butter, 750 grams of flour, a cube of baker’s yeast, and 4 tsp of sugar.
Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk and water, then add the flour and the other ingredients. Let rise the dough until it will double in volume, knead it again, divide into 2 loaf pans and let rise till the edge, then cook at 200°C for about 40 minutes.
You can use your Tramezzini Bread for many recipes. For example, you can make great rolls.
