Whipping Cream is a dairy product used to make desserts or to decorate cakes and pastries. It is a quite rich kind of cream, as it has a high fat content and is often sweetened. It is quite fluid, but gets thicker and creamier as you whip it up.
On the market you can also find imitations of whipped cream, usually called whipped topping, ideal to avoid milk allergies or if you follow a vegan diet.
In cooking, you can also make a great whipped topping at home. You just need to whisk together 100 grams of rice or soy milk and 160 grams of seed oil, untill you get the desired consistency.
