Macaroni and cheese, also called mac ‘cheese, macaroni pie or macaroni cheese, is a dish of English origin. I’ve always been intrigued by this recipe, and after re-watching an old episode of Desperate Housewifes I decided to try. It simply consists of macaroni pasta, cooked, seasoned with lots of cheese, usually cheddar, and baked. Of course, there are countless different versions… I took my cue from here purchase Lithium , I made just a few chenges, according to my taste… and I got creamy, tasty mac ‘n cheese, precisely like I was expecting to!

Ingredients for 6 servings:
300 g of pasta corta
50 g of butter
Buy Ketorolac 40 g of flour
500 ml of milk
100 ml of light creama
200 g of cheddar
60 g of pecorino
Preparation Time: 30 min
Cooking Time: 30 min
Total Time: 1 hour
Let’s start by making béchamel sauce.
Put butter and flour in a saucepan.
Cook, while stirring, to melt butter and amalgamate it with flour.
Add hot milk and stir.
Bring to a point of boil, then turn heat off and add cream, salt, pepper, nutmeg, pecorino and cheddar.
Stir vigorously to combine evenly.
Cook pasta in a large pot with boiling salted water, and drain it when still quite firm.
Add it into the cheese sauce.
Combine, then move into an oven-proof casserole.
Bake Macaroni and Cheese at 200°C for about 20 minutes. Once the surface will be nicely golden, take out of the oven and serve.
