Meatballs with Marsala, a tasty and easy second course, with the meat tender and aromatic thanks to the herbs and to the marsala gravy sauce. I chose to use thyme and marjoram, and to use just the egg white to bind and hold the meatballs together: yummy! Everybody licked their fingers!

Ingredients for 4 servings:
350 g of beef ground meat
1 egg white
2 tbsp of parmesan cheese, grated
1 slice of bread
1 glass of marsala wine

thyme
marjoram
pastry flour
salt
black pepper

Preparation Time: 20 min.
Cooking Time: 15 min.
Total Time: 35 min.

How to make Meatballs with Marsala:

Put in a mixing bowl meat, parmesan, egg white, soaked and squeezed bread, salt and pepper.

Knead till getting a smooth paste.

Make small meatballs of the size of a walnut, flour them and put them on a plate.

Melt a knob of butter and some oil in a pan, add the meatballs and pan-fry them.

Add the marsala, lower the heat, cover with a lid, and let cook for a dozen minutes.

Decorate your meatballs with their gravy sauce, and serve.
