Parker House Rolls are soft and buttery buns with a slightly sweet taste and a crispy shell. They seem to have been invented at the Parker House Hotel, Boston, during the 1870s. They are still served there, but are also widespread around the States, where are available prepackaged, both fresh and frozen.
These buns are perfect for breakfast, with butter and jam, or, if you like the semi-sweet taste, to accompany lunch. I think they’re delicious!
