Pumpkin Buns, a successful experiment I made last week: I had some pumpkin at my disposal, and desired some kind of different bread, I saw on a blog (here) the technique to make pumpkin-shaped buns… And here I am. This definitely is a Halloweeny recipe! It’s easy and quick to make, and successful too! You can make simple buns as well: you’ll just not please eye, but the taste, indeed, yes.
One last thing: pumpkin bread has a quite mild savor, I tried it with cold meats, or else with Nutella, and I liked both, so it’s up to you.

Ingredients for 6 buns:
600 g of pastry flour
300 g of pumpkin
12 g of baker’s yeast
Strattera without prescription 150 ml of milk
2 tsp of salt
Ventolin price 1 tbsp of extra-virgin olive oil

Preparation Time: 30 min.
Baking Time: 20 min.
Total Time: 50 min. + 2 hours and 30 min. for rising

How to make Pumpkin Buns

Dice the pumpkin and steam it for 20 minutes, or else bake it at 200°C for 20 minutes.

When the pumpkin is done, blend it with a mixer: you need a purée.

Mound the flour in a mixing bowl, make a well in the middle and pour inside the pumpkin.

Start kneading, dissolve the yeast in the (slightly warmed up) milk slowly add it to the dough.

Season with salt and oil, and keep kneading till you get a soft, plain dough.

Cover with a clean cloth and let rise until it will have doubled in volume.

Divide the dough into 6 (equal) buns.

Tie the buns with some kitchen twine: you wrap it 8 times around every bun.

Put on the baking sheet (covered with baking paper) you are using to bake them, and let them rise 30 more minutes.
9 panini zucca legati cresciuti

Bake in pre-heated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes. Let cool down and take off the twine before serving.
