I was quite suspicious of this Quick Bread recipe: after trying long-rising doughs, I couldn’t believe that making a light, perfectly rised, crunchy bread coul be possible in just 2 hours. It is also know as quick quick bread, and it’s a high-hydration bread made just by combining all the ingredients in a bowl. 90 minutes for rising, 30 minutes for baking… if you want bread at short notice, this is the recipe for you: I loved it 😉
My vacation is going fine. I’m tasting many dishes of Tunisian cuisine I didn’t know… and maybe then you’ll find them on the blog, eventually.

Ingredients for 3 loaves:
500 g of pastry flour
370 ml of water
12 g of baker’s yeast
2 tsp of salt
purchase Clonidine 1 tsp of honey

Preparation Time: 10 min
Baking Time: purchase Lasix 25 min
Total Time: 35 min + 1 hour and 30 min for rising

How to make Quick Bread

Dissolve honey and yeast into 50 ml of water (out of your 370 ml).

Mound flour in a bowl, make a well in the middle and put inside the dissolved yeast and the remaining watere. Start to combine.

Add salt and combine. The dough will be limp and sticky.

Spread some flour over it, cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let rise for 1 hour and a half.

With a floured spatula, move dough onto the oven tray (covered with baking paper), leaving floured part of dough upwards.

Divide into 3 loaves.

Gently space them out.

Bake at 230°C, in preheated ove, for about 30 minutes.

Let cool for a while before serving.
