Savory Loaf Cake has been a nice discovery: it is a savory cake easy and quick to make, soft and versatile.
I found the recipe on another foodblog: they stuffed it with cooked ham, olived and cheese… I had all the ingredients at home, so yesterday I decided to make it for supper: delicious! I think I’m gonna make it again with some different stuffing 🙂
Ingredients for a 30 cm loaf pan:
100 ml of milk
100 ml of seed oil
300 g of pastry flour
150 g of green olives
100 g of cooked ham
100 g of provolone cheese
50 g of scamorza cheese
20 g of grated parmesan cheese

Preparation Time: 15 min.
Baking Time: 40 min.
Total Time: 55 min.
Dice ham and cheese. Pit the olives and cut in pieces.
Beat eggs, salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.
Once they are froathy, slowly add milk and oil, still beating.
Now stir in flour and baking powder.
Add the stuffing (ham, olives and cheeses).
Combine evenly with a wooden spoon.
Pour in a buttered and floured loaf pan.
Bake in oven preheated at 180°C for about 40 minutes.
Let cool till tepid before taking out of the pane and serving your Savory Loaf Cake.
