I hadn’t eaten scallops in a long time, and I had never baked Scallops Au Gratin. So, when I found scallops at the fish shop, I putt two and two together, and here you have my recipe. Scallops Au Gratin, an easy appetizer you can prepare in advance an bake just before sitting down at the table. Perfect for the Christmas Eve menu together with, or instead of, oysters.

Ingredients for 4 servings:
Preparation Time: 10 min.
Baking Time: 15 min.
Total Time: 25 min.
Blend together bread crumbs, chives, parmesan, garlic and salt.
Put the mixture in a bowl and add oil and water.
Put the scallops on a baking sheet and cover with the mixture you’ve made.
Preheat the oven at 200°C, add a little oil on the surface of the scallops, and cook for about 10-15 minutes, or till the surface will be nicely golden.
Serve your Scallops Au Gratin.
