Cupcakes, also called fairy cakes or patty cakes, are small cakes, similar to muffins, but decorated. They’re as big as a small cup, from which the name.
More than because of savor and softness, cupcakes are famous thanks to their versatility: you can decorate them in thousands ways, and that’s their strength!
This is a base recipe to make Vanilla Cupcakes, of course you can let your imagination run free, both with batter flavoring and final decoration.
Well, here they are… my first cupcakes!
Ingredients to make butter cream
125 g of vanilla-flavored icing sugar
25 g of butter
15 ml of milk
1/2 tsp of vanilla essence
Preparation Time: 25 min.
Baking Time: 15 min. Muscle Relaxant
Total Time: 40 min.
Just like for making muffins, combine dry ingredients (sugar, flour, baking yeast) in a bowl, and liquid ones (melted butter, eggs, vanilla) in another one.
Combine the two mixtures.
Stir while adding milk, till getting a smooth batter.
Put paper liner in muffin tins, and fill with your batter.
Bake at 180°C for 12-15 minutes, then take out of the oven and let cool down.
Meanwhile, let’s make the butter cream t decorate your cupcakes.
Blend together butter, milk, sugar and vanilla, till getting a smooth cream.
Spread the cream over the cupcakes.
Decorate your cupcakes with sprinkles, and serve.
